The Snoqualmie Tribal Council stands behind and endorses the bond measure placed on the February 10th 2015 ballot by the Snoqualmie School District’s Board of Directors. We feel strongly about supporting education, and the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe places a high value on educating our youth. The growing student population in the Snoqualmie Valley comunity needs these infrastructure improvements to foster their safety and success in our schools now and in the future.

The bond represents a comprehsensive, long-term solution to provide more space for the District’s growing student enrollment at all grade levels and to make improvements and upgrades to maintain the health and safety of current and future students. These are all improvements that we feel are of great value to our community.

Residents of our area agree that education is an essential service to the community and to the future of our children. A quality educational system that serves the needs of our expanding numbers of students is key to the well-being and success of the Snoqualmie Valley community. We have an obligation to provide safe, secure and quality facilities for our children’s education.

This bond measure gives voters the opportunity to invest in safe, efficient and modern school buildings for Snoqualmie Valley students – an investment that is long overdue and, if implemented, will pay off exponentially in the increased quality of education for our young people and the raised potential for success and prosperity for everyone in our community.
