Snoqualmie Tribal Members,
The Snoqualmie Tribal Council takes the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) very seriously and recognizes that many in our Tribal Community have been affected by the virus and continued Stay at Home Orders.
On May 21st, the Snoqualmie Tribal Council approved COVID-19 Emergency Disaster Relief General Welfare Benefit to cover reasonable and necessary personal, living, and family expenses incurred due to the ongoing pandemic. COVID-19 is adversely impacting the life and health of Snoqualmie Tribal Members regardless of where they live, and these funds are covered under the Tribe’s General Welfare Policy.
The tax-free COVID-19 Emergency Disaster Relief general welfare benefit for Snoqualmie Tribal Members will be distributed on May 29th no application necessary in the amount of $250 (Two Hundred Fifty and 00/100 U.S. Dollars). These funds will be distributed the same way as other benefits – via direct deposit or live check, depending on what the Tribe has on file for each Tribal Member.
If you have any questions about this emergency benefit, please contact generalresources@snoqualmietribe.us.
We hope everyone remains safe and healthy during this outbreak. Please check in with your elders, and help anyone you know of who may be in need of extra support at this time.
Sincerely,
Snoqualmie Tribal Council
