Snoqualmie Indian Tribe Accepting Applications for Impact Mitigation Funds

Funding supports individuals and entities impacted by the Snoqualmie Casino

SNOQUALMIE, WA— The Snoqualmie Indian Tribe is soliciting applications for its 2019 impact mitigation dollars. The Impact Mitigation application is available to all individuals and entities to seek funding from the Snoqualmie Impact Mitigation Fund to mitigate impacts resulting from the operation of the Snoqualmie Casino.

Organizations and individuals interested in applying need to submit their applications no later than February 10th, 2019. The Impact Mitigation Committee will then review and deliberate on the applications in late winter/early spring. 

The 2019 Impact Mitigation Application is available on the Snoqualmie Tribe’s website (www.snoqualmietribe.us) under “Community Services.”

The Snoqualmie Indian Tribe is a federally recognized tribe in the Puget Sound region of Washington State. Known as the People of the Moon, Snoqualmie were signatories to the Treaty of Point Elliott in 1855. Tribal enterprises provide over 1,700 jobs in the Snoqualmie Valley, and the Snoqualmie Tribe has donated more than $8 million to nonprofit organizations in Washington State since 2010.
